Family Affair
The Carb Shed is a family affair, Dennis and I have enjoyed the Model T and Model A hobby for almost 40 years. We have toured all over this great country and parts of Canada with our 4 children, and have enjoyed the hobby. Two of our sons, Scott, and Daniel, who each have a Model A and a Model T, have entered this business with us. We believe in keeping the hobby alive, we have learned the trade from an established Model A carburetor rebuilder and were able to learn his tricks and trade secrets of the profession.
Dennis has been an Engineer in Research and Development with a US Fortune 100 large engine manufacturer for almost 25 years. Once Dennis retires, he will be dedicated to The Carb Shed full-time. Right now, we all pitch in and help when we have a free moment. Our turnaround time varies, but on average, is between 2 to 3 weeks if you want your carburetor to be restored and returned to you. We typically have a limited inventory of most Model A carburetors upon inquiry.
